Airport Action
Experience an unusual day programme full of action at an airport. Hostesses in airline uniform receive and accompany you to your personal check-in counter at the terminal. After the security check in the departure terminal you are taken to an apron area near the takeoff and landing runway. This is the location of the skill and obstacle course:
Pushback and baggage tractor course After a short briefing the objective here is to complete a course in a pushback tractor with tow bar in as short a time as possible. Then you test your skill in operating a baggage tractor. You sit at the wheel of a fully loaded tractor and manoeuvre your valuable cargo in a slalom course through the obstacles of the airport apron.
Baggage wall The baggage wall tests your logistics skill under time pressure. Can you manage to stack a large number of suitcases into an even wall without it falling over? Teamwork is required here. One group is responsible for unloading a baggage trailer in the baggage claim section of the airport while the others in the arrivals terminal take the suitcases off the conveyor belt and stack them into an even wall.
Hands-on airport With this motto in mind a pilot walks you through an aircraft and explains to you the technique of flying in a short but exciting course.
Life vest training Under the guidance of a stewardess or an airline purser you are instructed in how to put on and blow up the life vests properly.
Fire brigade rescue operation Under the guidance of real members of the airport fire brigade a rescue operation for an aircraft is simulated. In this professional fire protection exercise all members of the team are actively involved.
Terminal course Explore the public part of the airport and then answer selected questions on the history and future of aviation in a short test.
Aircraft pulling And finally another assignment for the entire team: a fully equipped Piper Cheyenne is pulled over a distance of 10 metres using thick ropes.
In between there is a break at the restaurant, where an ample buffet lunch awaits you. During the entire event the large red double-decker bus is at your disposal on the airport apron with snacks and small refreshments.
Group bookings with different programme schedules according to prior arrangement, 20 to 150 persons.
